The empire never died, it just changed its decent skin. She also had to know clearly, was she the night watchman of the old era, or was she the last knife to stab it?
Xueying’s companion, Cecilia, has the power to destroy everything, but she is as humble as dust in front of Xueying. There was a past between them that Xueying had forgotten, but that made Cecilia weep.
This has never been a beautiful story. It is extremely dark and depressing. It never praises heroes. It is just a group of people who refuse to admit defeat and rebuild hope in the ruins of the failed revolution.
